Context and strategy are critical in drafting contracts as they involve relationships (new and longstanding ones), risks (including unanticipated ones). This is where the human insights and experience would bring value to the table when lawyers negotiate and adapt the terms of the contract to reflect not just the commercial goals but also cater to the parties’ specific preferences and concerns.
